Design
Closed systems are very compact, because only a small
pressure accumulator is required. Open servo pump systems
allow the sequential propulsion of several cylinders with only one
single servo pump system. Thus, for example, as shown in the
figure, three cylinders can be driven in succession using a single
servo pump system (consisting of two individual pumps).
