Application note
In parallel with each and every PLC link, WinCC flexible Runtime
supports the use of the OPC Client channel; this enables,
for example, connection to an SNMP OPC Server for the pur-
pose of visualizing the data stored there. The SNMP OPC Server
provides a means of monitoring network components of any type
(e.g. switches) which support the SNMP protocol. For further
