Overview
SIMATIC PCS 7 automation systems in various designs:
Modular S7-400 systems as well as embedded systems (mEC and Microbox system)
Automation systems are available in three different designs for
the SIMATIC PCS 7 process control system. The automation
performance can therefore be finely scaled within wide limits.
The automation systems offered can be classified as follows:
•
Modular systems of the S7-400 series with hardware controller
in the versions "Standard", "High availability" and "Safety-
related"
- AS 410 automation systems
- Complementary S7-400 systems
•
Embedded systems with software controller
- mEC automation system
- Microbox automation system

Note
