Ambient temperature for air-cooled converters
The maximum permissible coolant temperature is 40 °C for
air-cooled units. If operation is required with higher coolant
temperatures, derating is necessary.
V66, V67 and V68
Water inlet temperature for liquid-cooled converters
The maximum permissible water inlet temperature is between 28
and 35 °C depending on the converter type (see technical data
for maximum cooling water temperature). If operation is required
with higher coolant temperatures, derating is necessary.
V86, V87, V88 and V89
Installation altitude
At an installation altitude for the SINAMICS G180 of over 1000 m
above sea level, reduced cooling caused by the lower air
pressure and cosmic radiation means that the input voltage
must be reduced (see the section "Characteristic curves" under
"Configuring instructions"). Options
