Bearing rating life
Most motors with standard bearings have a rated life
time L
10h
in excess of 100000 h. Rated life time for frame
500, 2-pole, may be less than 100000h. The life times
are calculated in accordance with ISO R 281-1.
The basic rated life L
10h
is the number of hours at rated
bearing load and speed that 90% of a group of identical
bearings will complete or exceed before the first
evidence of failure.
Lubrication intervals
The motors are equipped with greasing nipple(s) in
both ends for lubricating the bearings. The greasing
nipples are located on top of the motor. The amount of
grease and the interval of greasing are stamped on the
relubrication plate. The values are also shown in the
table below.
